Almond Blueberry Banana Parfait for Strong Bones

This Almond Blueberry Banana Parfait is quick and easy to make and is chock-full of nutrients to help support strong healthy bones.   Get your calcium, protein and prebiotics in this simple parfait made with Greek yogurt. 

  • Bananas are rich in potassium, magnesium, vitamin B, and vitamin C and also contain very high amounts of prebiotic  fructooligosaccharides
  • Blueberries are rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, zinc and vitamin K and several studies have suggested that the polyphenols in blueberries can be associated to higher bone mass.
  • Almonds are high in calcium and also are a good source of prebiotics

1 ½ cup non fat Greek yogurt

½ cup fresh blueberries

½ medium banana, sliced 

½ cup sliced almonds 


1. In a small bowl, layer Greek yogurt, blueberries, and bananas.

2. Top with sliced almonds, blueberries, banana slices and enjoy.
