Increases skin elasicity
A study with 69 women aged between 35 and 55 years revealed that the specific Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Collagen& leads to significantly higher skin elasticity – up to 15% – compared to placebo treatment. This effect could be measured after just 4 weeks of treatment and persisted after 8 weeks of taking.
Significantly reduces wrinkles
Another study with more than 100 women aged between 45 and 65 years shows that in ingesting the specific Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Collagen& (2500mg/day) significantly reduces wrinkles after 4 weeks and leads to a significantly higher skin pro-collagen concentration.
Significantly decreases cellulite and raises dermal density
A study with 105 women aged between 25 and 50 years shows that the daily oral intake of 2500mg of the specific Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Collagen& significantly decreases their cellulite score. A further study shows that the daily oral intake of 2500mg of the specific Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Collagen& decreases cracked and/or chipped nails after 2 months of treatment, reaching a decrease of 42% after 6 months. It also shows a statistically significant improvement in nail growth after 3 months of treatment, whilst at the same time, a notable improvement in nail peeling and a clearly decreased nail edge irregularity. 80% of women taking part were completely satisfied, with 75 % of the women perceiving their nails as longer, 71 % stating their nails grew faster and became longer.
The Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Ellactiva improves hair thickness.
A study with 44 women aged between 39 and 75 years shows that the daily oral intake of 2500mg of the specific Bioactive Collagen Peptides® used in Collagen& for a period of sixteen weeks led to a significant increase in hair thickness, in terms of an increased diameter to each strand of hair, whereas a slight decrease was observed in a placebo group. Increased hair thickness is likely to lead to improved textural and physical properties of hair, making it stronger and more resistant to breakage.
